While still under construction, Heesen’s 50-metre Project Aster has been sold to experienced owners who were introduced by Arcon Yachts. Her new owners are expecting delivery in June 2019 after she completed her sea trials in the North Sea.
Project Aster started on speculation and the joining of her hull and superstructure was completed in February 2018. Project Aster's exterior design is by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects [...] and Heesen’s in-house interior team to incorporate key design elements from her sistership, Septimus (ex: Satori).
On board, she will be able to accommodate up to 12 guests across six cabins, including five lower deck suites and a spacious master’s cabin with an ensuite bathroom on the main deck. Her versatile layout also includes three lounges, three dining rooms, a bar and an open-air jacuzzi on her top deck.
Powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 engines will be able to deliver a top speed of up to 23 knots. In true blue-water motor yacht style, Project Aster has a transatlantic range of 3,100 nm whilst cruising at 11 knots.
